Zero waste
Every time an order arrives at our workshop, we carefully select the right mallets for the system we are going to create. And during the manufacturing process, depending on the needs of the person who is going to use it, there is usually a certain amount of hair that is left out of the system.
What no one knows is that if this surplus is of high quality, it can be reused as many times as we want. And thus give it a new life using it to restore other hair systems or to create limited editions that allow us to preserve our ecosystems and extend the life of the planet and hair.
In this way we take the utmost care of our resources and make the most of them, being responsible with the raw materials and the production processes.
Artisanal repair
We have always been the type to fix everything that breaks down at home instead of buying something new. And we strongly believe in maximising the life of products rather than encouraging irresponsible consumption.
That is why all our systems are designed to last and offer the naturalness that characterises them for as long as possible. And when they begin to deteriorate through normal use, we always offer the possibility of restoring them by hand so that they can have a second life.
We assess the condition of the hair, and if it is in good condition to be restored, we start the process so that the system can once again have a useful and lasting life.
Second chances
In the event that a person decides to buy a new system instead of refurbishing it, its life cycle does not end there. We believe that everyone deserves a second chance, which is why we have collection points where you can drop off your unused systems. We will collect them, evaluate and restore them, and donate them to hairdressing academies so that professionals can learn and practice with them.
It is clear to us that the key to a more sustainable world is to reuse our resources instead of generating new ones, and at Integral Hair we will continue to strive to achieve this.
Will you join the circular lives?
